The hand position of the buddah is the Vitarka mudra, meaning teacher

The mantra "Om Mani Padme Hūm" means "Purification of the 6 realms of existence"

Om = generosity >(purifies)> ego/ pride
Ma = ethics > jealousy
Ni = patience > desire
Pad = diligence > ignorance/ prejudice
Me = renunciation > greed/ possesiveness
Hum = widsom > agression/ hatred
