Summer time ☀️= no art 🎨time?!

Since the start of June, as summer arrived on the Costa Blanca ☀️, we've been extremely busy at the bar and with Villa Cuisine…
My latest painting "experiment," which I started almost three months ago, has been on the easel ever since 😅… (this was after attending another Milan Art workshop on mixed media, this time conducted by Dimitra Milan).

Since I don't have oils, I incorporate other techniques rather than using different types of paint.
The progress on this one appears to be particularly slow, and it's not just because of limited time. 😅

Although I'm attempting to relax my painting technique by blending abstract and realism, I still want certain elements to be detailed and precise. For instance, the branch, some of the flowers, and the bird (yet to come 😉). Achieving this requires layer upon layer and...

Two days later, I had some extra time and managed to work on a few more flowers and the other branch. After this session, I thought, "I like the flowers on the right" and "I need to do something with the yellow part" 😅
Then I didn’t get to continue until the end of April…

In May, I dedicated a few hours to enhancing the details of the branches, as I found them somewhat dull... And that's where it remains... 😅
The paint on my palette has likely dried out completely by now…🙈 But… hey ho! 😄
I'm pleased with how it's coming along so far.
Maybe I can work on it during my summer art course @ Life Long Learning starting next week…
Or not… and that will be a completely different section 😅😉
Anyway soon as this one is finished, I’ll add it to my portfolio 😉
By then I’ll come up with a name for it as well, I’m sure… but suggestions are welcome 🙃
