This turned out to be a fun 🎨 experiment on canvas 😃🌸🌺

This painting´s journey began quite some time ago 😅 (you can read more about the process in this blog post), when I attended the MixedMedia workshop by Dimitra Milan at the Milan Art Institute. (Since I don't have oils, I've experimented with incorporating other techniques...)

Reflecting on our local art class lesson on composition, I decided to leave out the bird and added some abstract flowers. In this manner, it ended up being quite distinct from the original source image, which I believe is positive.

As Bill mentioned in our last class, "Make it your own!" Isn´t that the essence of creating art?—finding your unique style and preferences.
